dc.description.abstractA maneira como os projetistas respondem a demandas externas no processo de design resulta de uma interpretação de variáveis, grande parte das quais é oriunda da palavra. Dessa forma, a palavra é essencial nas diferentes fases do processo – que culmina em objetos – mesmo porque cada uma dessas fases, indissociavelmente, é apresentada por palavras. Com fundamentação em princípios lingüísticos, o presente estudo busca estabelecer uma análise da construção de imagens e da importância de repertório lingüístico no processo de design, destacando o papel da palavra, especialmente, na fase de geração de alternativas.pt_PT
dc.description.abstractAbstract: The way how designers respond to external demands in process project design results from an interpretation of variables, most of them originated from the word. Thus, the word is essential in different stages of the process - that culminates in objects – because each one of these stages, inextricably, is presented by words. With grounding in linguistic principles, this study seeks to establish an analysis of the construction of images and the implications of perception, linguistic repertoire and culture in design process, highlighting the role of the word, especially at the generation of alternatives.pt_PT
