Animação, património e território : a animação artística ao serviço da comunidade

| dc.description.abstract | O Património Cultural, como história individual e coletiva, tem de ser valorizado pelas populações locais, na medida em que corresponde ao seu universo identitário. Neste artigo, defendemos ser fundamental, para uma verdadeira dinamização do Património local, que a comunidade conheça e reconheça o valor dessa herança cultural, a fim de a poder rentabilizar como recurso de desenvolvimento. Consideramos, igualmente, que a Animação Artística, enquanto forma de intervenção num território, num trabalho efetivo e prolongado numa comunidade, promove a força desse património, desafia mentalidades, explora projetos de interação, incentiva a aceitação da diversidade, cria o novo, acolhendo o antigo. Quando se estabelece a relação entre um Património herdado e um Património que se vai construindo, quando se favorece a animação e a educação artísticas, no diálogo entre o fazer expressivo-artístico e outras culturas, artes e estéticas, projetos diversificados podem e devem estruturar-se. Estes projetos permitem tornar presente a tradição, desbloquear os limites dos processos criativos e capacitar a população para ser agente do seu próprio desenvolvimento, propondo, deste modo, alternativas à cultura massificada e à imposição de uma monocultura à escala global. Este artigo visa refletir sobre esta problemática e acentuar que a riqueza cultural de uma comunidade não pode medir-se pelo valor económico imediato que ela produz, mas terá que ser encarada como investimento de futuro, seja no direito das novas gerações a usufruir orgulhosamente do seu património, seja no disponibilizar de novas condições para o bem-estar das populações, seja no atrair de novos visitantes, seja no desenvolvimento social e económico gerado, a médio e longo prazos. | por |
| dc.description.abstract | Abstract - Natural heritage, as individual and collective history, must be valued by local people in the extent that corresponds to their identity universe. On this paper, we argue that, it is essential to a true stimulation of the local heritage, that the community must have some knowledge about it, must recognize the value of their cultural heritage, and bring into their minds its richness, in order to be able to nurture and value it as a place through its diversity as a means of development. We acknowledge, also, that an artistic dynamic as a process of intervention in a territory, a prolonged and effective work within a community, promotes the strength of that heritage, challenges attitudes, explores interaction-projects among local citizens and other people, encourages acceptance of diversity, and creates the new, embracing the former. By establishing the relationship between local heritage and the one which is being built, when we favour the artistic dynamics and arts education, in a dialogue between the expressive art-making and other culture expressions, arts and aesthetic, multiple projects can and should be structured. These projects may allow to put the tradition into present, unlock the limits of creative processes and enable people to be agents of their own development, proposing them alternatives which will face and fight against massive culture and against the imposition of a global monoculture. This paper aims to reflect about these issues, emphasizing that cultural richness of a community cannot be measured by immediate economic value of what it produces, but must be seen as an investment in the future. To entitle the new generations with rights over their ancestral material and immaterial patrimony leads to create pride of their own heritage, and offers possibilities to empathize on new conditions for the welfare of populations. Plus, in attracting new visitors, it will enhance social and economic development that can be only effective when generated in the medium and long term, otherwise all the attempts for changing will rest on the surface. | por |
