Abstract(s)
Abstract: This report focuses on the realization of two internships, the first with a six months time period at the atelier Nhu Duong in Berlin, the second internship with a duration of four months at the atelier Ann Demeulemeester in Antwerp in the year 2013-2014, with reference to the backstage participation at the fashion show in Paris, at Paris Fashion Week spring-summer 2015 men, and subsequent showroom. As a consequence of this practical experience an investigation on the globalization of fashion and of the livelihoods of small designers vs. big studios is conducted; meeting the goals set forth by the MA program. The internships aim to consolidate the knowledge acquired during undergraduate and master's degree, with a more intensely practical and realistic attitude, obtaining firsthand acquaintance in the parameters of how a fashion studio operates, intending also to enrich the portfolio and the curriculum.
