Abstract(s)
O presente Relatรณrio de Estรกgio pretende ser um contributo para a reflexรฃo sobre a problemรกtica da indisciplina em contexto de sala de aula, na Sede do Agrupamento de Escolas Padre Vรญtor Melรญcias.
Como tema pertinente que รฉ, no atual contexto educativo, a indisciplina assume um papel sobre o qual urge continuar a refletir, tendo em vista a implementaรงรฃo de estratรฉgias que contribuam para minimizar estes comportamentos e as suas consequรชncias.
O estรกgio realizado, que decorreu ao longo de um perรญodo de seis meses, centrou-se na identificaรงรฃo desta problemรกtica e na implementaรงรฃo de um programa de intervenรงรฃo junto de uma turma de quinto e duas turmas do sexto ano de escolaridade, da instituiรงรฃo jรก referenciada, com o objetivo de promover uma maior consciencializaรงรฃo por parte dos alunos dos comportamentos desajustados e o desenvolvimento de estratรฉgias de controlo desses comportamentos. Para tal, apรณs definirmos a problemรกtica orientadora da nossa investigaรงรฃo, desenvolvemos uma metodologia de investigaรงรฃo de natureza qualitativa, um estudo de caso, recorrendo a mรบltiplas tรฉcnicas de recolha de dados, entre as quais, entrevistas Focus Group realizadas com os alunos e professores do 2ยบ CEB, entrevistas semiestruturadas realizadas ร diretora e ร psicรณloga do Projeto โAtitude Positivaโ, diversas observaรงรตes em contexto de sala de aula, com o objetivo de conhecer a perceรงรฃo que a comunidade educativa endรณgena tem sobre a indisciplina e das suas consequรชncias.
A problemรกtica da indisciplina e os problemas de aprendizagem nรฃo se encontram dissociados, na esteira do jรก constatado por estudos jรก realizados sobre estas matรฉrias. O trabalho realizado permitiu concluir que as principais dimensรตes da indisciplina apontadas sรฃo o desrespeito pelas regras e pela figura do professor, provocando-o constantemente, impedindo-o assim, a ele e aos colegas de desenvolver o seu trabalho capaz e eficazmente, mas emergem tambรฉm como dimensรฃo-problema as dificuldades de aprendizagem e trajetรณrias escolares pautadas por algum insucesso.
Deste modo, o projeto que foi implementado tentou responder de forma mais ajustada possรญvel, quer ร s dificuldades de aprendizagem, quer aos comportamentos de indisciplina.
Indiscipline in the classroom is the core subject of study of this report. The purpose of the Internship is to contribute to the reflection about indiscipline, particularly where the Internship and collection of data took place, at the headquarters of regional schools Padre Vรญtor Melรญcias. It is a pertinent theme included in the broader education context. It is urgent to continue to reflect about indiscipline by implementing strategies that contribute to minimize these behaviours and resulting consequences. The Internship was done over a period of six months and focused on identifying undisciplined behaviour and on the implementing of an intervention program with a 5th grade class and two sixth grade classes of the above mentioned institution. The main goal was to promote a sweeping awareness by the students of their maladjusted behaviour as well as the development of control strategies of the same behaviour patterns. After defining the problems which served as guidelines to our investigation, an investigation methodology was developed (qualitative, not quantitative in its evaluation) a case study resorting to numerous data collecting techniques, such as Focus Group interviews with students and teachers alike from the 5th and 6th grade. Semi-structured interviews to the director and psychologist of the Project โAtitude Positivaโ (Positive Attitude) centring on several observations in the classroom context with the design of knowing the perception that the education community has about indiscipline and its consequences. Indiscipline and learning issues are not unrelated, this being the base of many studies on the subject. Through this study we have concluded that the main ramifications of indiscipline are disrespect for the rules and the teacher figure (constant harassment which restricts the teacher and students from working appropriately and effectively), learning difficulties and curricular underachievement. Thus, the implemented project attempted to address these issues effectively, regarding difficulties in learning and undisciplined behaviour.
