Abstract(s)
O presente relatório foi realizado no âmbito do 3º semestre do 1º Curso de
Mestrado em Cuidados Paliativos, da Escola Superior de Saúde Dr. Lopes Dias.
A reflexão crítica, que sustenta o próprio relatório, desliza ao longo dos
diferentes objetivos delineados, analisando o modo como cada um deles foi
alcançado, sendo ainda sustentadas todas as afirmações através de bibliografia
pertinente. Assim, relativamente aos locais inicialmente mencionados, o relatório
traduz a reflexão acerca da forma como foram aplicados os valores e princípios dos
CP; as competências desenvolvidas na implementação de um plano assistencial de
qualidade à pessoa com doença crónica, avançada e progressiva; a capacidade de
reflexão sobre dilemas éticos; o desenvolvimento de experiência de prática
assistencial numa equipa de CP, em regime de internamento e, por fim, a
compreensão do modelo de funcionamento e organização do serviço onde decorreu a
prática clínica.
O Relatório inclui ainda o Projeto de Intervenção/Formação desenvolvido no
HDO da ULS de CB. Neste, para além de uma sensibilização para os CP e sua
importância, através da divulgação dos seus princípios e valores, é procurada, de
igual modo, uma abordagem às dificuldades sentidas pelos profissionais de saúde em
dar apoio às famílias de doentes oncológicos em processo de luto, aos seus conceitos
gerais, e à necessidade de uma abordagem ao mesmo, por meio de uma intervenção
adequada e especializada.
ABSTRACT: This report was conducted under the 3rd semester of the 1st Master Course in Palliative Care, School of Health Dr. Lopes Dias. Critical reflection, which supports the report itself, glides over the different goals outlined, analyzing how each was achieved, being still held all claims through relevant literature. Thus, for the places mentioned initially, the report reflects the thinking about how we applied the values and principles of CP; skills developed in the implementation of a quality health care plan to the person with chronic illness, advanced and progressive, the ability to reflection on ethical dilemmas; development experience in healthcare practice team CP, inpatient and finally, understanding the operating model and service organization ensued clinical practice. The report also includes the Intervention Project / Training developed in the HDO ULS CB. This, in addition to raising awareness of the CP and its importance through the dissemination of its principles and values, is sought; likewise, an approach to the difficulties experienced by health professionals to support families of cancer patients undergoing bereavement, its general concepts, and need for an approach to the same by means of appropriate intervention and specialized.
