| dc.description.abstract | Thisarticleaimstoevaluatetheresourcesandcapabilitiesininsularregions,andalsotounderstand howvaluecreationandcommercializationtakeplaceintheexistingecosystems.Aqualitativeresearch methodologywasfollowedthroughacasestudy,incorporatinginterviewswithincubatorsmanagersof theinsularregionsofPortugal(AzoresandMadeira).Theresultsshowsomedifficultiesasaresultof theecosystem’sinsularity.Toshortentheinsularregionsdissymmetrycomparedtoothernon-insular regions,anewmodelisproposedtohelptheseregionsovercometheireconomicandsocialproblems. | pt_PT |
