Abstract(s)
Este trabalho realizou-se no âmbito de dois estágios, no campo do Design de Moda e Vestuário, nas empresas Studio Laend Phuengkit e Iris Van Herpen. As marcas foram lançadas em 2010 (Studio
Laend Phuengkit) e 2007(Iris Van Herpen). Studio Laend Phuengkit caracteriza-se pelas suas peças de
estética minimalista com pormenores a nível da estamparia e de alguns drapeados, enquanto Iris Van Herpen
possui peças de composição aditiva, recorrendo ao uso de aplicações e à impressão 3D. A mestranda entrou
em contacto com outras culturas, dado que ambos os estágios foram internacionais (Berlim e Amesterdão). A
mestranda desenvolveu competências técnicas, específicas, e foi-lhe possível entrar em contacto com o mundo laboral. Foi desenvolvido um processo de metodologias mistas, para que se obtivesse o máximo proveito das experiências dos estágios.
Abstract: This work concerns two internships in the field of Clothing and Fashion Design at Laend Phuengkit’s and Iris Van Herpen’s companies. The brands were launched in 2010(Studio Laend Phuengkit) and 2007(Iris Van Herpen). Studio Laend Phuengkit is characterized by its minimalist aesthetic pieces containing details of printing and draperies, while Iris Van Herpen has pieces of additive composition, resorting to the use of applications and 3D printing. The master student was able to contact with other cultures since both interniships were international (Berlin and Amsterdam). Specific technical competences were developed and it was possible to to get in touch with the working world. Mixed methodologies processes were developed in order to take full advantage of the internships’ experience.
