| dc.description.abstract | Esta investigação submete-se a um estudo da revisão da literatura de natureza teórica, através da qual é feita a descrição generalizada do tema. De um modo mais restrito foram analisados os pressupostos e estratégias, face à desigualdade do género, no domínio das artes, do mundo ocidental desde a sua origem. Ao longo dos séculos, este assunto tem sido discutido de forma problemática face à luta pela igualdade de oportunidades do género no mundo artístico. Embora as mudanças tenham surgido na segunda metade do século XX (ao longo da segunda vaga do feminismo) esta situação discriminatória na esfera artística foi notória na sociedade e no mundo com mudanças profundas a nível dos paradigmas sociais. Esta realidade no domínio da arte não ficou indiferente a essas mudanças, pelo fato de ter sido extremamente afetado pelo feminismo, tanto a nível de produção como na teoria artística, tendo em conta o forte impacto que o feminismo teve nas alterações da posição subalterna, para um plano superior hierárquico. | dc.description.abstract | Abstract : This investigation is subjected to a study of the literature review of a theoretical nature, through which a generalized description of the topic is made. In a more restricted way, the assumptions and strategies, in the face of gender inequality, in the field of the arts, of the western world since its origin, were ana-lyzed. Over the centuries, this issue has been discussed in a problematic way in the face of the struggle for equal opportunities of gender in the artistic world.Although changes emerged in the second half of the 20th century (during the second wave of feminism) this discriminatory situation in the artistic sphere was notorious in society and in the world, with profound changes in social paradigms. This reality in the field of art was not indifferent to these changes, as it was extremely affected by feminism, both at the level of production and in artistic theory, taking into account the strong impact that feminism had on changes in the subordinate position, to a higher hierarchical plan. This study describes a general and current panorama of the artistic aspect of discrimination against female artists and the means conveyed by them. | pt_PT |
