| dc.description.abstract | As Artes estão presentes no Sistema Educativo português, assumindo uma grande importância a partir dos anos 70 do Século XX, embora nos últimos anos se lhes tenha vindo a retirar espaço no currículo do Ensino Básico, em virtude da inclusão de novas áreas e do relevo atribuído a outras, em detrimento das áreas artísticas. Considerando que as áreas artísticas têm uma dinâmica motivadora e se constituem como espaços estratégicos de aprendizagem, a pesquisa empreendida visou analisar a problemática da intervenção socioeducativa através da Arte num contexto escolar, partindo da análise de um projeto artístico extracurricular. A proposta de Projetos artísticos ou Clubes na Escola Básica e Secundária tem sido habitual nas Escolas, porquanto proporciona aos alunos experiências e vivências em contexto não formal, enriquecendo e valorizando o aluno na comunidade educativa. Perante a exiguidade de avaliações destes projetos, torna-se necessário estudar e comprovar o seu impacto nas aprendizagens dos alunos. Neste sentido, procurou-se estudar o Projeto de Escultura, atividade extracurricular proposta aos alunos do 12ºAno da área de Artes Visuais e desenvolvida na Escola Secundária de Amato Lusitano de Castelo Branco. A questão geral que orientou este estudo foi a seguinte: - Que tipo de avanços pode provocar um projeto extracurricular centrado na educação através das artes e quais as mudanças significativas na vida dos jovens alunos que dele advém? Assim, o estudo foi conduzido no sentido de se compreender as perceções dos professores e dos alunos participantes acerca das implicações deste projeto na sua vida pessoal e social (capacidades, atitudes, conhecimentos, competências) e as conceções dos mesmos sobre o papel das artes nas aprendizagens e na relação social. Este estudo recorreu à metodologia de Estudo de Caso, sendo realizada uma análise qualitativa dos dados recolhidos através de documentação escrita, de entrevistas a professores e de questionários aos alunos participantes no Projeto. Das conclusões podemos destacar as seguintes: O estudo permitiu evidenciar, através do diálogo entre teoria, análise e discussão dos dados obtidos nesta investigação, que os alunos e professores do Projeto extracurricular de Escultura da Escola Secundária de Amato Lusitano o percecionam como muito significativo na sua evolução pessoal, social e cultural. Os participantes no Projeto e os restantes professores entrevistados são unânimes em afirmar a importância das áreas artísticas no processo de aprendizagem e na relação social. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The Arts are present in the Portuguese Educational System, assuming a great importance from the 70's of the XX Century, although in recent years they have been withdrawn from the Basic Education curriculum, due to the inclusion of new areas and the attributed relief to the detriment of artistic areas. Considering that the artistic areas have a motivating dynamics and make part of strategic spaces of learning, this research aimed to analyze the problem of socio-educational intervention through Art in a school context, starting from the analysis of an extracurricular artistic project. The proposal of Artistic Projects and Art Clubs in the Basic and Secondary School have been usual at Portuguese Schools, for how much provides students within living experiences in a non-formal context. These experiences enrich and value the student in the educational community. However, facing the smallness of evaluations of these projects, it is necessary to study and prove their impact on students' learning. In this sense, we tried to research on a Sculpture Project (as an extracurricular activity) proposed to the students and which was developed by them. This project take place at High School of Visual Arts Amato Lusitano in Castelo Branco. The general questions that guided this research were: - What kind of advances can an extracurricular project, centered on education through the Arts, can put forward? What significant changes in young students’ lives who follow Art Projects? Thus, our research was conducted in order to understand the teachers 'and students' perceptions and points of view about the implications of learning Arts project in their personal and social life (abilities, attitudes, knowledge, competences), as well as their conceptions on the role of arts in the Learning and social relationships. In this research it was followed Case Study methodology, and a qualitative analysis of the data, collected through: written documentation, interviews with teachers and questionnaires done to the students participating in the Project. From the conclusions we can highlight the following: Through the dialogue between theory, analysis and discussion of the data obtained in this research, students and teachers – of that Extracurricular Project of Sculpture of the Secondary School of Amato Lusitano – perceive that Art Project has been very relevant, in a positive sense, in their personal lives, social and cultural evolution. All participants in the Project and teachers from other fields of knowledge interviewed by us, are unanimous in affirming the importance of the artistic areas in the learning process and in the social relation. | pt_PT |
