O software educativo como ferramenta de comunicação na dificuldade intelectual e desenvolvimental: “Os Jogos da Mimocas”: um estudo de caso

Apresentam-se resultados de um estudo de caso seguindo uma metodologia de investigação – ação, em torno da utilização do software educativo “Os Jogos da Mimocas” com uma criança com Dificuldade Intelectual e Desenvolvimental. O estudo surge da necessidade em responder às dificuldades vividas como docentes, e de melhorar a qualidade de vida da criança. Procedeu-se à revisão das fontes mais relevantes, visando constituir-se o enquadramento teórico da investigação e após a análise dos dados recolhidos, verificou-se que a utilização do software permitiu que, recorrendo a atividades lúdicas e funcionais, a criança pudesse ultrapassar dificuldades de concentração/atenção, autoestima e comunicação.
This paper presents the results of a case study following a research methodology - action on the importance of using educational software " Mimocas Games " with a child diagnosed with Developmental and Intellectual Difficulty. The study arises from the need to respond to the difficulties experienced as teachers, and improve the quality of life of the child. We proceeded to review the most relevant sources of information aiming to establish a theoretical frame of research and after analyzing the data collected, it was verified that the use of the software allowed, with simple activities, recreational and functional, for the child to overcome some of her difficulties with concentration / attention, self-esteem and communication.
