Vivemos numa época em que a presença das TIC na vida e em algumas das atividades diárias dos cidadãos é quase inevitável. Estas têm um papel preponderante na sociedade, fazendo com que esta aja em conformidade com a realidade. Deste modo, é importante incluir as TIC no sistema educativo, de forma a proporcionar um maior interesse e motivar os alunos para o estudo, num contexto educativo-digital, com o objetivo de desenvolver habilidades e competências digitais que serão úteis para o seu quotidiano. O presente relatório de estágio pretendeu investigar se a aplicação digital Mentimeter consegue proporcionar uma maior motivação dos alunos para a aquisição das aprendizagens. Esta investigação-ação com natureza qualitativa desenvolveu-se no âmbito da Prática de Ensino Supervisionada em 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico, no Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar e Ensino do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico, numa turma de 1.º ano de escolaridade, com vinte e seis alunos. Para a recolha de dados foram utilizadas algumas técnicas/instrumentos investigativos, como foi o caso da observação participante; as notas de campo; os inquéritos por questionário aos Encarregados de Educação; e as entrevistas semiestruturadas à Orientadora Cooperante e às duas docentes do agrupamento. Foram recolhidos diferentes dados e opiniões, durante todo o processo, o que permitiu que fosse feita a triangulação dos dados recolhidos, averiguando assim que a utilização da aplicação digital Mentimeter se tornou uma mais valia, uma vez que conseguiu proporcionar uma maior motivação dos alunos para a aquisição das aprendizagens nas diferentes áreas curriculares de Português, Matemática e Estudo do Meio.
Abstract: We live in a time when the presence of ICT in the lives and in some of the daily activities of citizens is almost inevitable. These play a predominant role in society, making it act in accordance with reality. Therefore, it is important to include ICT in the educational system, to provide greater interest and motivate students to study, in a digital educational context, with the aim of developing digital skills and competencies that will be useful in their daily lives. This internship report aimed to investigate whether the digital application Mentimeter can provide greater motivation for students to learn. This action research with a qualitative nature was developed within the scope of Supervised Teaching Practice in the 1 st Cycle of Primary Education, in the Master’s Degree in Pre-School Education and Teaching of the 1 st Cycle of Primary Education, in a 1 st grade class, with twenty-six students. To collect the data, several investigative techniques/instruments were used, such as participant observation; field notes; questionnaires for the parents/carers; and semi-structured interviews with the Co-operative Advisor and the two teachers from the school. Different data and opinions were collected throughout the process, which allowed for the triangulation of the data collected, thus ascertaining that the usage of the digital application Mentimeter became an added value, since it has managed to provide greater motivation for students to learn in the different curricular areas of Portuguese, Mathematics and Environmental Studies.
