A importância das produções operáticas em Língua Portuguesa no processo de aprendizagem do canto

Abstract(s)
Partindo da premissa de que no nosso país existe produção operática considerável e substancial, sobretudo emergente do período de ouro da música em Portugal, a época barroca, este projeto de trabalho visa colocar em discussão os motivos pelos quais essa mesma produção não é posta ao serviço da aprendizagem dos alunos que se especializam nesta área.
No intuito de mostrar as potencialidades da língua portuguesa para este género musical, este projeto divide-se em três capítulos.
No primeiro capítulo é apresentada uma resenha histórica da evolução da ópera portuguesa, e as tentativas que foram existindo para na tentativa de implementar uma corrente no nosso país.
Centrando-nos na importância da língua portuguesa no processo de aprendizagem do canto, o segundo capítulo pretende aclarar as potencialidades fonéticas da língua, através da breve explicação da fisiologia vocal e das suas componentes acústicas e articulatórias. Ainda nesta parte, é apresentada a relevância da língua materna para o processo de aprendizagem do aluno.
No terceiro capítulo, é apresentado o trabalho que foi feito no estágio profissional, no âmbito de aulas supervisionadas, complementado com as entrevistas previamente aplicadas a docentes de canto.
Abstract : Based on the premise that exists considerable and substantial operatic production in our country, especially emerging from the music’s golden period in Portugal, the Baroque era, this dissertation intends to understand the reasons why this same musical production is not available for students, that are specialized in this discipline. In order to show the potentiality of the Portuguese language in this musical genre, this project is divided into three chapters. The first chapter presents an historical overview in the evolution of portuguese opera, and the attempts that existed to implement a current in our country. Focusing on the importance of the portuguese language in the singing learning process, the second chapter aims to clarify the phonetic potential of the language, through a brief explanation of the vocal physiology and its acoustic and articulatory components. Also in this part, the relevance of the mother tongue for student’s learning process is presented. In the third chapter, the work that was done in the professional internship, in the context of supervised classes, is complemented with the interviews previously applied to singing teachers
