Resumo(s)
A inovação tornou-se o desafio decisivo para a competitividade global. As vantagens associadas ao empreendedorismo assente em padrões de sustentabilidade, tornam-se inquestionáveis do ponto de vista do desenvolvimento das regiões, enquanto motor da criação de emprego e riqueza local. Propõe-se desenvolver um modelo de negócio assente nas áreas do turismo de saúde, bem-estar e alojamento, associado à criação de uma Unidade de Qualidade de Vida. Tentando a contribuição para a competitividade das regiões deprimidas inseridas no interior do nosso país, sem contudo descurar a preocupação social, resultante do fenómeno do envelhecimento da população nacional e ibérica, da qual decorre o surgimento crescente de novos casos de demência neurológica, sem capacidade de resposta a nível de serviços de cuidados oferecidos, onde se incluem as doenças de Alzheimer e Parkinson, pretende-se assim concorrer para o reforço da intenção empreendedora regional, assente numa estratégia de atração turística, suportada na valorização da riqueza endógena local.
ABSTRACT: Innovation has become the decisive challenge for global competitiveness. The advantages associated with entrepreneurship based on sustainability standards, become unquestionable from the point of view of development of regions, as a driver of job creation and local wealth. It is proposed to develop a business model based on the areas of health tourism, wellness and accommodation, coupled with the creation of a Quality of Life Unit. Trying to contribute to the competitiveness of depressed regions inserted in the interior of Portugal, while maintaining the social concern resulting from the aging phenomenon of the Portuguese and Iberian population, from which comes the increasing emergence of new cases of neurological dementia, without capacity response at the level of care offered, which include Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s, so we intend to contribute to the strengthening of regional entrepreneurial intention, based on a strategy of tourist attraction, of tourist attraction, through the enhancement of local indigenous resources.
