dc.description.abstractThis article presents the design of a combined tactile and auditory code for encoding colours for blind individuals, intended for the reproduction of paintings, particularly non-figurative ones. The aim of the proposed system is to evoque a sensation related to colour in blind users, not as a forced association with the sighted concept of colour, but rather as a means to develop na abstract and personal notion of colour through tactile and auditory assistance. The system is based on studies on chromatic synaesthesia conducted by artists and musicians throughout the twentieth century and is primarily designed for the enjoyment of abstract paintings from that period.eng
dc.description.abstractEste artículo presenta el diseño de un código combinado, táctil y auditivo, para la codificación de los colores por parte de personas ciegas, destinado a la reproducción de obras pictóricas, en particular aquellas no figurativas. El objetivo del sistema propuesto es generar en las personas ciegas una sensación relacionada con el color, que no pretende ser una asociación forzada con el concepto de color de las personas videntes, sino que, a través de la ayuda táctil y auditiva, conduzca a la elaboración de un concepto de color abstracto y personal. El sistema se basa en losestudios sobre la sinestesia cromática realizados por artistas y músicos a lo largo del siglo XX y está diseñado principalmente para la apreciación de pinturas abstractas de ese período.spa
