Abstract(s)
montagem do respetivo projeto.
que se percebe que a mestranda se envolveu em todas as etapas de um projeto;
Abstract: This report aims to provide information about the curricular internship of the master's degree in Interior and Furniture Design, within the scope of the Internship curricular unit, taught at the Escola Superior de Artes Aplicadas (ESART), belonging to the Instituto Politécnico de Castelo Branco (IPCB). The internship was carried out at the Filipa Borges Nascimento – Arquitectura e Interiores studio, and lasted six months, from September 2022 to March 2023. By completing the internship, the master's student was able to use the knowledge previously acquired in an academic environment, and simultaneously deepen it in a work context. Throughout it, several tasks were developed from the initial phase of the dimensional survey of the space, through the development and presentation of the proposal, contact with suppliers, and delivery and assembly of the respective project. This document is divided into seven chapters, namely: Introduction, where the reasons and objectives of the internship are mentioned; Theoretical framework, which addresses the principles and impact of interior design, the importance of the interior designer and the difference between an interior designer and an interior decorator; Contextualization of Coimbra, in order to better understand the surroundings of the internship site; Contextualization of the studio, in order to understand its history and how it works; Tasks developed during the internship, in which it is clear that the master's student was involved in all stages of a project; Projects developed therein, in which some of the project typologies are mentioned, namely housing and local accommodation; and, finally, Conclusion, where some considerations about carrying out the internship are taken.
