A avaliação é uma problemática em constante debate no mundo da educação. No que à performance musical diz respeito, esta problemática adensa-se devido à complexidade e características específicas do seu objeto. A avaliação da performance musical é uma tarefa que sofre influência de imensos fatores, musicais e não musicais, e sobre a qual existem noções e práticas imensamente díspares entre estabelecimentos de ensino e ainda distantes das conceções que podemos encontrar nas teorias e literatura relacionadas com a mesma.
Como deve ser avaliada uma performance musical? Que aspetos deve contemplar? Que aproximação deve ter? Que ferramentas de avaliação existem especificamente aplicadas à performance musical? São algumas das questões colocadas neste estudo além da reflexão feita relativamente a esta dimensão da educação que, apesar de essencial, divide opiniões e é fonte de dúvidas entre os docentes e investigadores.
Abstract : Assessment is a constantly debated issue in the world of education. In what musical performance concerns, this issue thickens due to the complexity and specifications of its object. The assessment of musical performance is a task influenced by a great deal of factors, musical and non-musical ones, and upon which there are notions and practices unequal between schools and distant from the theory and literature concerning this matter. How to assess a musical performance? Which aspects should it contemplate? What kind of approach should it have? Which tools of evaluation applied to the musical performance exist? This are some of the questions approached in this investigation beyond the reflection concerning this dimension of education that, despite is necessary role, splits opinions and is a source of doubts amid teachers and investigators.
