Abstract(s)
Este estudo tem como objetivo explorar a reprodução digital do vestuário de época, com um estudo de caso focado no traje marinheiro do século XIX,
preservado no Museu Nacional do Traje. Utilizando o software CLO 3D, investiga-se como a modelagem tridimensional pode ser uma ferramenta eficaz para a preservação do património têxtil e cultural. A recriação digital permite a preservação de peças frágeis que não podem ser manuseadas devido ao seu estado de conservação, garantindo a sua integridade e acessibilidade para futuras gerações.
Além disso, o estudo destaca como a digitalização de vestuário abre novas oportunidades para a preservação do património cultural e para a acessibilidade pública, através de exposições virtuais e plataformas educativas. O uso do CLO 3D no contexto museológico oferece uma análise mais aprofundada das técnicas de confeção e da estrutura dos trajes, criando uma ponte entre o passado e o futuro na preservação de têxteis históricos.
Abstract: This study aims to explore the digital reproduction of period garments, focusing on a case study of the 19th-century sailor suit preserved at the Museu Nacional do Traje. By utilizing CLO 3D software, this research investigates how 3D modeling can be an effective tool for the preservation of textile and cultural heritage. The digital recreation allows the preservation of fragile garments that cannot be handled due to their conservation status, ensuring their integrity and accessibility for future generations. Moreover, this study emphasizes how garment digitization opens new opportunities for cultural heritage preservation and public accessibility, particularly through virtual exhibitions and educational platforms. The use of CLO 3D in a museological context provides a deeper analysis of garment co nstruction techniques and structure, creating a bridge between the past and the future in the preservation of historical textiles.
