Abstract(s)
Desde modo, procedesse metodologicamente à elaboração prática do projeto.
Abstract : The present work intends to explore the ergonomics of the graphical interface in shrinking machines for automotive wiring in order to understand if the operator is having the best experience and, if possible, to contribute for that to happen. Inserted in a car engineering company, the author of this work intends to contribute with a new set of icons, more coherent and duly tested to integrate in the graphical interfaces of the equipment. In this way, proceed methodologically to the practical elaboration of the project. Consisting in its scope of two execution phases: 1st Phase: Outlined by grouping symbols by common meanings to be conveyed, thus starting from the meaning attributed to each symbol by the host company of this project and owner of the equipment in which the interfaces are inserted. Syntactically, the most relevant icons for the study were surveyed and their meaning was described. Pragmatically, starting from the symbols selected as the most viable for the study, the ISO 9186-1:2014 Standard was applied via an online survey. As a conclusion to this crucial first phase, a statistical analysis of the collected data was carried out in order to understand which symbols would work in the next phase. 2nd Phase: Directed towards a more practical approach, where, starting from the symbols considered the most viable by the respondents, the redesign of the symbols was developed. As a process of creating the new system of symbols, the shape library, the construction grid and a brief example of the design method were defined. These are crucial to coherent, ergonomic, and viable symbol development
