Este documento ilustra o desenvolvimento de uma minicoleção athleisure para mulher tendo como princípio a desconstrução de um molde de casaco de fato de homem.
Com a Questão de partida: “É possível desenvolver uma coleção athleisure para senhora partindo da desconstrução do molde de uma peça de vestuário clássico de homem?”, o trabalho divide-se em duas fases principais: o estágio curricular e o desenvolvimento do projeto.
O estágio curricular teve lugar na Torre Sociedade de Confecções, SA, empresa dedicada à confeção de fatos de homem e de vestuário corporativo. Este direcionou-se à área da modelagem e, por isto, todo o trabalho e tarefas desenvolvidas tiveram ligação direta com moldes, nomeadamente de fato de homem, sendo assim apresentado um relatório descrevendo a empresa e as tarefas realizadas.
Neste sentido, e com o aumento gradual do interesse feminino pela moda athleisure – movimento que representa a utilização de roupa desportiva em âmbito casual, e que por vezes é conjugada com peças mais formais como o fato – surgiu a ideia de utilizar um molde semelhante aos trabalhados durante o estágio e reconstrui-lo recriando uma peça versátil para mulher, com o conceito athleisure.
Desta forma, é desenvolvido um projeto que contempla a criação e prototipagem de uma peça hibrida, a partir da desconstrução de moldes e de aplicação de técnicas de modelagem. Essa peça resultante serve então de inspiração para a criação de uma minicoleção para a Primavera/Verão 2021 sob o tema “formas transformadas”.
Abstract : This document shows the development of an athleisure mini collection for women based on the deconstruction of a menswear blazer pattern. Under the starting topic: “It is possible to develop an athleisure mini collection for women, starting on the deconstruction of a menswear classic garment pattern”, the project is divided in two main stages: the curricular internship and the development of the project. The internship took place at Torre Sociedade de Confecções, SA, a company dedicated to the manufacture of menswear suits and corporate clothing. The internship focused the pattern making area and all the work done there was closely linked to the men's suit patterns. In that way is presented a report describing the company and the tasks performed. As the women interest in athleisure fashion is increasing – a movement which represents the use of activewear in a casual way, and sometimes active clothing is combined with formal clothing, like suits – came up the idea of using a similar pattern to the ones worked during the internship and rebuild it, recreating a new versatile garment for women combined with the athleisure concept. Therefore, it is shown all the project development process, the creation and prototyping of a hybrid garment, beginning with the pattern deconstruction and application of pattern making techniques. The resulting garment is the inspiration to the Spring/Summer 2021 mini collection design under the theme “transformed forms”.
