O presente relatório de estágio encontra-se organizado em duas partes. A primeira parte incide sobre a Prática de Ensino Supervisionado (PES) desenvolvida no Conservatório de Música de Barcelos, integrando uma caracterização contextual da instituição. Neste âmbito, procede-se à descrição, planificação, observação e reflexão crítica das aulas acompanhadas, envolvendo dois alunos de violoncelo e a orquestra de cordas do Conservatório. A segunda parte do relatório apresenta um estudo de investigação em que é feita a elaboração de uma proposta de exercícios preparatórios direcionados para a iniciação no violoncelo, especificamente para alunos entre os seis e os dez anos de idade. Este estudo centra-se na construção de uma proposta de exercícios que preparam a postura, o posicionamento da mão direita e da mão esquerda. A partir da análise e seleção de métodos e exercícios/jogos desenvolvidos por diversos pedagogos do violoncelo, pretende-se identificar abordagens eficazes e pedagogicamente relevantes, capazes de promover um desenvolvimento técnico e sensorial gradual e motivador em contexto de sala de aula. De seguida, este estudo inclui ainda a aplicação dos mesmos a alunos pertencentes à faixa etária em questão. Esta etapa permitiu observar, avaliar e refletir sobre a eficácia pedagógica da proposta desenvolvida.
Abstract: The present internship report is organized into two main parts. The first part focuses on the Supervised Teaching Practice (STP) conducted at the Conservatory of Music of Barcelos, providing a contextual and institutional characterization of the school. In this section, the description, planning, observation, and critical reflection of the lessons followed throughout the internship are presented, involving two cello. The second part of the report presents a research study that includes the development of a set of preparatory exercises aimed at beginner cello students, specifically those between six and ten years of age. This study focuses on designing a series of exercises that support the development of correct body posture, as well as the appropriate positioning of both hands. Through the analysis and selection of methods and pedagogical exercises/games developed by various cello pedagogues, the study aims to identify effective and pedagogically meaningful approaches that can foster gradual and motivating technical and sensory development in the classroom context. Furthermore, the study includes the practical application of these exercises to students within the defined age group. This phase enabled the observation, evaluation, and reflection on the pedagogical effectiveness of the proposed activities.
