Resultante da conclusão do Mestrado em Design de Interiores e Mobiliário, da Escola Superior de Artes Aplicadas, do Instituto Politécnico de Castelo Branco, o documento que se apresenta, reflete o término da unidade curricular de estágio. Com uma duração de seis meses, o estágio curricular foi realizado no atelier Filipa Borges Nascimento - Arquitetura e Interiores. O presente relatório encontra-se estruturado em duas fases. A parte introdutória corresponde ao enquadramento teórico, relativo ao Design de Interiores. Nesta, apresentam-se uma breve análise conceptual, uma contextualização histórica da disciplina no país, terminando com uma sucinta reflexão sobre o papel do designer de interiores, quando integrado na equipa de trabalho de um atelier de arquitetura. A segunda fase diz respeito à atividade referente ao estágio curricular. Através de uma abordagem descritiva, caracteriza-se a empresa acolhedora e o local onde esta se insere. No contexto da realização prática, descrevem-se as tarefas executadas e os projetos desenvolvidos, bem como os conhecimentos e experiências obtidas no decorrer deste período de inserção em contexto laboral. A experiência vivenciada permitiu obter uma formação integral mais consolidada e o desenvolvimento e aprofundamento das competências adquiridas ao longo da formação académica. De igual modo, proporcionou uma aproximação às vivências reais em ambiente empresarial, desde o ingresso numa pequena equipa de profissionais, à elaboração de projetos pensados ao detalhe, com um acompanhamento personalizado direcionado para o cliente.
Abstract: Resulting from the conclusion of the Master in Interior and Furniture Design, of the Applied Arts Superior School of the Castelo Branco Polytechnic Institute, this document reflects the end of the internship curricular unit. With a duration of six months, the curricular internship was carried out at the "Atelier Filipa Borges Nascimento - Arquitetura e Interiores. This report is structured in two phases. The introduction phase correlates with the theoretical framework, related to Interior Design. It presents a brief conceptual analysis, a historical contextualization of the discipline in Portugal, ending with a brief reflection on the role of the interior designer when integrated into the work team of an architecture atelier. The second phase concerns the activity related to the curricular internship. Through a descriptive approach, the host company and the location where it is located are characterized. Regarding the context of the practical implementation, the task performed and the projects developed are described, as well as the knowledge and experiences obtained during this period of insertion in the labor context. This experience allowed for a more consolidated integral formation and the development and deepening of the skills acquired during the academic training. Likewise, it provided an approach to real life experiences in a business environment, from joining a small team of professionals, to the elaboration of projects thought out in detail, with a personalized followup directed towards the client.
