Abstract(s)
Of Porches.
adaptação a ajuste.
Abstract: This report refers to the internship that was between September and March at the Lion Of Porches brand, Grupo Cães de Pedra, S.A., based in Vila do Conde, Portugal, where the master's student's objectives were to integrate into a work team, understand the role, function, responsibilities and methods of creative work adopted by the company. After theoretical development, with intensive research into trends, working methods in fashion design and British fashion, it was possible to find an argument that would make sense in this internship. Merging all the themes and concepts covered, we sought to understand the role of the fashion designer in the Lion Of Porches company. This was developed in the internship environment and with all the tools that were available, with the help of all the colleagues present at the work place. To develop this work, a mixed methodology was adopted, the non-interventionist methodology where there was a literature review gathering information and bibliography relevant to the areas and topics explored and finally the interventionist methodology which was the development of projects with the application of acquired knowledge. The internship was essential for the trainee to gain professional training and acquire knowledge of a more commercial and less conceptual brand. In the end, it was possible to conclude that the internship was very beneficial for the master's student for all the theoretical and practical knowledge acquired. The success of the internship was also due to the academic training. During her internship at Lion Of Porches, the trainee realised that the brand has had a well-defined working methodology for many years. As this was slightly different from what she had learnt in an academic environment, there was a need to adapt.
