Abstract(s)
A presente dissertação tem como objetivo geral analisar e compreender, no âmbito do mercado cabo-verdiano da saúde, o perfil competitivo da Clínica de Gastroenterologia e Hepatologia e as estratégias que tem vindo a prosseguir, bem como perspetivar os desafios de futuro a que estrategicamente importa responder para reforçar o poder competitivo da empresa.
Em relação aos objetivos de estudo, para os responder, utilizou-se metodologia qualitativa e de natureza descritiva, aplicando-se entrevistas semiestruturadas, tanto a proprietária/fundadora da clínica em estudo, bem como aos interlocutores privilegiados do setor da saúde em Cabo Verde e da análise e observação de documentos. Todo o trabalho investigativo assentou no recurso a meios analíticos de gesta o e planeamento estratégico, sobretudo com recurso ao legado teórico e analítico Porteriano.
Os resultados do estudo destacam o perfil competitivo da Clínica de Gastroenterologia e Hepatologia que é de inovação, responsabilidade para com os pacientes e constante desenvolvimento e upgrade dos seus quadros, acompanhando desta forma, as inovações tecnológicas e humanas no que toca ao setor da saúde em Cabo Verde e no mundo.
Desta forma, com base nos resultados obtidos, é possível concluir que investir em aparelhos modernos, novos serviços, uma aproximação o e satisfaça o cada vez mais com os seus pacientes e potenciais pacientes, estando mais presente nas redes sociais, o que permite atualmente um maior alcance do publico, entre outras medidas, tem sido crucial para a clínica ultrapassar os obstáculos impostos ao setor privado da saúde no mercado de Cabo Verde. Nesse sentido, de continuar a trajetória de crescimento e de reforço dos fatores de competitividade da empresa, e, a finalizar, indicado um conjunto de recomendações de natureza estratégica.
Abstract: The general objective of this dissertation is to analyze and understand, within the scope of the Cape Verdean health market, the competitive profile of the Gastroenterology and Hepatology Clinic and the strategies it has been pursuing, as well as to envision the future challenges to which it is strategically important to respond to strengthen the competitive power of the company. Regarding the study objectives, to answer them, a qualitative and descriptive methodology was used, applying semi-structured interviews, both to the owner/founder of the clinic under study, as well as to the privileged interlocutors of the health sector in Cape Verde and the analysis and observation of documents. All the investigative work was based on the use of analytical means of management and strategic planning, especially using the theoretical and analytical legacy of Porterian. The results of the study highlight the competitive profile of the Gastroenterology and Hepatology Clinic, which is one of innovation, responsibility towards patients and constant development and upgrade of its staff, thus following technological and human innovations in the health sector in Cape Verde and in the world. Thus, based on the results obtained, it is possible to conclude that investing in modern equipment, new services, an increasingly closer and more satisfaction with its patients and potential patients, being more present on social network, which currently allows a greater reach of the public, among other measures, has been crucial for the clinic to overcome the obstacles imposed on the private health sector in the Cape Verde market. In this sense, to continue the growth trajectory and strengthen the company's competitiveness factors, a set of strategic recommendations is indicated.
