O Método Suzuki e as redes sociais : os pais enquanto elemento estimulante na dinâmica da aprendizagem inicial do violino

Abstract(s)
O presente relatório é composto por duas partes distintas: a primeira relativa ao
estágio profissional na área de Violino e Música de Conjunto no Conservatório Regional
de Setúbal, no ano letivo 2013/2014, onde são apresentados os planos de sessão das
aulas, bem como relatados alguns momentos importantes como audições e concertos; a
segunda consistindo num trabalho de investigação sobre o tema geral deste trabalho,
que incide na relevância dos pais na aprendizagem do aluno de violino. Para o desenrolar
deste estudo, foi criado um grupo privado na rede social Facebook – CRS (Classe de
Violino) – Prof. Ana Maia – através da qual 22 encarregados de educação puderam
interagir entre si e com o Professor, ao longo de 6 meses (de janeiro a junho de 2014).
De forma a “medir” a interação no grupo, foram contados “publicações”, “gostos”,
“visualizações” e/ou “comentários”, permitindo observar se a dicotomia participação
ativa versus aprendizagem dos educandos consistia numa realidade positiva (de acordo
com a tese defendida por Suzuki).
A interação dos encarregados de educação neste grupo foi analisada em paralelo com
a avaliação trimestral (2º e 3º período) dos alunos permitindo corroborar a premissa
deste estudo: em que medida a utilização das redes sociais pode aproximar os pais no
processo de aprendizagem dos seus educandos nos primeiros anos de aprendizagem do
violino.
Abstract : This project consists of two parts: the first one referring to the professional internship in the area of Violin and Chamber Ensemble in the Regional Conservatory of Setúbal, in the academic year of 2013/2014, where class plans are presented, as well as some important moments such as auditions, recitals and concerts; the second part consists of a research work about the general theme of this project, which focus mainly on the importance of the parents involvement in the students´ learning of the instrument, in this case, the violin. For the development of this study, a private social media group was created on Facebook – CRS (Violin Class) – Prof. Ana Maia – through which 22 parents and/or guardians could interact with each other and with the teacher or professor in question, running for a total of six months (from January to June 2014). As a way of “measuring” the interactions within the group, posts, likes, views and comments were counted and surveyed, allowing us to observe the two distinct sides: active participation versus the schooling of the parents and/or guardians and to survey if these interactions consisted of a positive reality (accordingly to the ideas of Suzuki). The interaction of parents and guardians in this online group was analyzed and compared with the quarterly evaluation of the students (2nd and 3rd terms), through statistical analysis, which allowed us to confirm the main subject and concept of this study: social media can bring the parents or guardians closer to their pupils in the first few years of the learning of the violin.
