Abstract(s)
Abstract : The current report focuses on the Supervised Teaching Practice Course of the Masterâs in Music Education Unit, variant Aural Training and Ensemble Class. The first part of this report itâs an approach to the work developed in supervised teaching practice, presenting the characteristics of the school and the surrounding environment in which the internship was carried out. It synthetises the pedagogical practice, both Aural Training and Ensemble Class, including general goals, class characterization and the taught classes planning/reflection, as well a critical reflection on the pedagogical practice. The second part consists on the implementation of an action-research project in a group of third-class music initiation students, in Academia de MĂșsica de Santa CecĂlia, aiming to verify if musical diversity promotes, through the investigator/teacher intermediation, an improvement of the usual binary and ternary meters learning. It consists in a presentation of the teaching - learning methodology applied in this investigation, as well as a description of the exploratory research developed, in which is questioned if the applied strategies, more precisely the developed classroom activities using songs and chants in unusual, multimetric/multitemporal meters promote the improvement of both binary ant ternary usual meters learning. It concludes with the results analysis and reflection.
