Abstract(s)
Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) are a fundamental part of people's daily lives, being deeply immersed in society. This development has led young people to understand and learn how to use digital materials at an early age, which has led schools to create conditions for their use in an educational context. This Traineeship Report aimed to study the potentialities of the «QR Code» applied in the classroom, in the 1st Cycle of Basic Education, particularly in the 4th year of schooling. The research was carried out during the Supervised Teaching Practice in the 1st Cycle of Basic Education (PES1CEB), in the 2nd semester of the 2nd year of Master's Degree in Pre-School Education and Teaching of the 1st Cycle of Basic Education. The class was composed of 20 students aged 9 to 10 years. This study assumed a methodology of qualitative nature in the modalities of case study and action research. Several data collection instruments were used, highlighting participant observation and field notes. As participants, there are the researcher, the students and the «Cooperating Adviser». Student questionnaires and semi-structured interviews with the «Cooperating Advisor» were also conducted by the other two teachers who taught at the institution, with the purpose of collecting information regarding the use of ICTs and educational software as teaching resources. The results obtained through the triangulation of data made it possible to perceive that the use of the «QR Code» promoted higher levels of student motivation, favoring the process and teaching-learning. In resume, the use of the «QR Code» as 'educational software' promoted the performance of various activities, where students felt more involved and motivated in their teaching process.
