Os resultados das avaliações externas têm sido considerados fundamentais para determinar o
desempenho do sistema educativo, com a finalidade de melhorar o sucesso. Portugal, ainda recentemente,
sujeitava os alunos de 6º ano a exame nacional, com implicação na avaliação global. Nesta
trama, o nosso estudo tem como objetivo analisar discrepâncias entre resultados de avaliações interna
e externa e implicações da avaliação externa na (re)organização da escola. Analisaram-se os resultados
de 821 alunos em Matemática. Foram também passados questionários aos professores tendo sido
feita análise descritiva das respostas. As conclusões confirmaram a existência de discrepâncias significativas
entre os resultados da avaliação interna e externa registando-se sempre classificação inferior na
externa. As discrepâncias foram justificadas por diversos fatores tendo tido implicações na organização
pedagógica através da implementação de medidas que não se mostraram efetivas.
The results of the external evaluations have been considered fundamental to determine the performance of the education system, in order to improve the success. Portugal, still recently, exposed the 6th year students to national exams, with implication in the overall evaluation. In this focus, our study aims to analyze discrepancies between results of internal and external evaluations and implications of the external evaluation in the (re) organization of the school. The results of 821 students in Mathematics were analyzed. We also passed questionnaires to the teachers and a descriptive analysis of the answers was made. The conclusions confirmed the existence of significant discrepancies between the results of the internal and external evaluation, always registering inferior classification in the external. The discrepancies were justified by several factors and had implications for the pedagogical organization through the implementation of measures that were not effective.
