Abstract(s)
The study intends to know the activities, routes and places frequented and the obstacles identified in the daily routines of children / young people with SEN, living in an urban environment, during the time they are out of school. In the study participated 4 subjects with ages between 9 and 14 years, with different disabilities. The results showed that the subjects are supported in their routines by parents, other family members and professionals in education and health. Weekly routines focus primarily on home and the places where they perform specific activities. Leisure time activities take place at home, using electronic media and are classified as sedentary. The companions in the activities are mainly familiar. Age and associated deficiencies are factors that influence the autonomy and independence of mobility. Difficulties in interacting with their peers are one of the obstacles in the daily life of these children. We conclude that the subjects spent a lot of time at home, involved in a reduced number of activities using few objects. They visited few places, in the company of family members, with reduced independence of mobility. The main obstacles encountered in the places and routes made are mainly related to its problems.
